iMessage via Blooio

Blooio is a hosted iMessage API that allows you to connect iMessage to Zhu Li without needing a dedicated Mac or disabling System Integrity Protection (SIP). It provides a dedicated phone number or email for your iMessage communication.

Step 1: Sign Up at Blooio

  1. Create an account at blooio.com.
  2. Follow the Blooio instructions to get a dedicated iMessage-enabled phone number.
  3. In your Blooio dashboard, navigate to API Keys and copy your API Key.

Step 2: Configure Zhu Li Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Zhu Li dashboard → Channels.
  2. Scroll to the iMessage (Blooio) section.
  3. Paste your Blooio API Key into the input field.
  4. Copy the Zhu Li Webhook URL provided in this section.

Step 3: Set Up the Webhook in Blooio

  1. Go back to your Blooio dashboard → Webhooks.
  2. Click Add Webhook or Create.
  3. Paste the Zhu Li Webhook URL as the endpoint.
  4. Set the event type to message.received or message.
  5. Click Create and copy the Signing Secret if one is shown.

Step 4: Finalize Zhu Li Configuration

  1. Return to the Zhu Li dashboard → Channels.
  2. Paste the Signing Secret (if applicable) into the Webhook Signing Secret field.
  3. Click Save Blooio Settings.

Step 5: Test It

Send an iMessage to your Blooio phone number. Zhu Li should receive the message and respond within a few seconds.
